This place has so many fantastic things going for it. And the really exciting part is they’re doing a lot of upgrades in the upcoming year. I really enjoyed staying here. The restaurant was such a wonderful surprise to not have to leave the hotel in -8° was fantastic. I had the breakfast sandwich in the morning and it was awesome. And then at night I asked if the wings could be crispy and wow, did they deliver. I travel constantly and the staff is so kind. I literally forgot I’m traveling. Highly recommend staying here and I loved the workspace in my room, absolutely love a huge desk and all of that good jazz.

The rooms and all were fine. The bistro was great! So glad this is an option! Plan on hosting more business meetings at this location. Catering food was great!

So I was doing this road trip from North Dakota all the way to Kansas City right at the end of a trip to South America. I did a massive hike the day before so my legs were so sore. So you can imagine how happy I was when I got to my room and it had a big giant jacuzzi tub waiting for me. It felt so good to get my legs into those hot Jets of water it was the perfect room for me at the perfect time.

If you’re looking for a great hotel off I-29 in Sioux Falls, Courtyard by Marriott Sioux Falls is a fantastic choice— right by the mall and close to everything! We arrived at night after a long day on the road, and especially in winter, the hotel felt immediately welcoming. With snow outside, the warm fire in the lobby set the tone, and the staff kindly offered to get us something from The Bistro even though it was just closing, which was so thoughtful. We are traveling on business and our Two-Room King Suite couldn’t have been more perfect. The large desk includes a separate pull-out arm that extends the workspace and overlooks the balcony, creating plenty of room to spread out. With lots of natural light, it was an excellent setup for remote work, and the Suite was quiet enough to take Zoom calls without interruption. The kitchenette—with a sink, microwave, and mini fridge was an added extra convenience. The bed was very comfortable and the walk-in shower had great water pressure. The Bistro is fantastic—and not your average hotel food. Dinner was genuinely delicious, with fresh ingredients and great service— and what a relief not having to leave the hotel to find a good meal! We had a great Burger and Fries, Crispy Chicken Wings, and a Bacon and Cheese Quesadilla. Everything worked- they were all perfectly cooked and seasoned and very satisfying after a long travel day. Plus the booths each had a mini tv making it perfect to watch football! Breakfast the next morning was the real gem! We had Avocado Toast (with fresh arugula) and a Bistro Breakfast Sandwich (fried egg, applewood-smoked bacon, aged white cheddar, lemon-dressed arugula avocado mash on a brioche bun). They were both absolutely delicious! We also had the French Toast with Strawberries (dipped in cinnamon-vanilla custard and griddled, topped with powdered sugar, fresh strawberries) and the Morning Flatbread (scrambled eggs, herbed cheese, green onions, bacon, avocado mash and salsa). Both were wonderful and the Flatbread was perfect for sharing and was delicious as leftovers the next day. I thoroughly appreciated the Starbucks Coffee—it definitely hit the spot on a cold, winter morning! The Fitness Center had new, clean, well-maintained equipment, and with the snow outside, the Indoor Pool and Whirlpool Tub looked especially warm and inviting. There’s also a Business Center in the lobby, along with a Guest Laundry, which are especially helpful for road trips or extended stays. And they even have a free airport shuttle. The location adds real value. Being right off I-29 and next to the Empire Mall makes this hotel especially convenient. Customer service throughout our stay was wonderful. David at the front desk was warm and welcoming and Jon helped us with our luggage cart as we left. Erika and Derrick in The Bistro were kind, attentive and even inquired about our visit and gave us great local recommendations. Those kind of personal touches really stood out and reinforced the feeling that this property is being run with care and attention. Overall, this is a great place for travelers staying along I-29 in Sioux Falls—especially business guests who value space to work, good food on site, and a genuinely welcoming, well-run hotel. We’d happily stay here again.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and what truly stood out was the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel right at home. Everyone I interacted with was not only professional and attentive, but also genuinely warm and friendly. What really made the experience memorable was the great conversation—they took the time to chat, share local recommendations, and show real interest in making sure I was enjoying my stay. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-located, but it’s the team here that makes it a place I’d gladly return to. Highly recommend!

David, the night manager in 10/29/25 was excellent. We had trouble with our ac/heat. He was on top of it. He needs a promotion and raise. Everyone could learn customer service from him.

The BEDS were sooo COMFORTABLE!!! Our room was facing the Empire Mall to go shopping. Great hotel, clean and quiet we slept like babies. We stayed for a concert in town and it was great!!
